Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
We are recent transplants from Kansas City, MO. GO CHIEFS! My boyfriend Mike and I have been together for almost 4yrs but have known each other for 20+ years. We live Beachside Daytona on the River and absolutely love it. My daughter Tylin is 18 and a recent graduate of Mainland High School. She plans to become a Dermatologist. My son Zander is 17 and will be finishing his last year at Mainland and graduating with honors. He will be pursuing a degree in Engineering. I’m also a mom to the cutest fur baby Winni P the Frenchie.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am the Founder and Publisher of Volusia-Flagler Real Producers Magazine and own a Home Warranty Company that operates in MO & KS. I’ve been in Real Estate for 25+yrs and started investing in Real Estate at the age of 18. I started in Mortgage Lending, had my own Branch and set up Branches around the United States. I love connecting people, helping people grow their business, building long lasting relationships and hosting events. I am so excited to bring Real producers to Volusia-Flagler County and showcase our Top Agents and businesses in the area.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Ashley Garrett- Hometown Realty- She is an amazing woman and very inspirational.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Traveling is my favorite pastime. I love seeing the world, different cultures and the beauties of nature. I’m looking forward to visiting Thailand. Our trip was cancelled due to Covid among many other vacations, but this is one I can’t wait to rebook.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Travel every chance you get. So much of who we are is where we have been.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A mission trip to another country, visit the Galapagos islands and add 2 more publications within the next few years.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Loretta Lynn, she has been an inspiration to me since I saw Coal Miner’s daughter when I was very young. I would love to meet her on her Ranch in Hurricane Mills and have a picnic lunch!
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love the diversity of people here. I enjoy all the events that come to town but yet the small town feel, where everybody knows your name.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Traveling the world full time
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I grew up on a farm, rode horses and was a complete tom boy
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Bali, there is something very magical about this place. The food is also amazing.
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month is May because it kicks off summer, although here in Florida every month seems like summer to me now and I LOVE IT! 4th of July is my favorite Holiday. I love to see the fireworks light up the sky. Favorite day is my birthday Jan 5th of course. Even though each year I get a year older it reminds me how lucky I am to get to do this thing called life.
