Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have two kids — ages 5 and 3. We moved to Daytona during the pandemic, because my wife got a job at Halifax Health Medical Center.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am a 2x Tech Founder and CEO. My newest startup — Superstars — is the future in professional networking, ALL using videos + pictures. We just launched on App Store and Google Play. It took us 2 years to build the mobile application. Come see the action!
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Sushi King — by Nova Road and Speedway Drive. Love it!
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
Over 1.5 years in Daytona Beach. Moved here from New York City during the pandemic.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
1 Million Cups of Daytona, professional community. It’s been AWESOME!
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Hawaii — most beautiful place I have ever visited!
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Just started watching: “Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber”. What an amazing first episode!!
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Be true to yourself. Find something you love doing and which you can do really well, and then many other items just naturally fall into place!
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
To drive 1 lap around the Daytona Speedway. One day!
Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
I like movie themes, all instrumental music. The Rock is my all-time favorite!
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
I met 1 Million Cups of Daytona a couple months ago. It’s really amazing group of people!
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Michael Jordan — he lived by his mantra that he was unafraid of fear, unafraid to fail. And that’s why he is the greatest of all-time!
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
How we have the Daytona Speedway in our backdrop, we have the beach, we have the theme parks of Orlando 1-hour drive away, we have a great Arts & Sciences Museum with a planetarium and even a special children’s section of the museum. Daytona has THE best of all the worlds!
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I aim to make Superstars one of the BEST companies to work for, with the most innovative benefits and employee perks to keep work fun. A global tech superstar, headquartered right here in Daytona. With hundreds of millions of users on our platform everyday, and thousands of employees here in Daytona being part of the Superstars team!
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
Where I was born — I was born in Orlando, with my mom’s water breaking in the Disney Parking lot of the Magic Kingdom. If I was born inside the park, I would have a ticket to go there free my whole life. Or so the legend has it!
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Honolulu, Hawaii — feels like tropical paradise every moment!
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
I love November — Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Thanksgiving weekend, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday. And it’s also my birthday month!
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Adrienne Barker, Brian Rademacher, and Michelle Rademacher — amazing people! They give so much to help this community. They have each helped me tremendously!
